Actor Bill Cosby who is known for his lead role in the hit TV series The Cosby Show is now facing charges for sexual harassment. When he was asked on NPR Saturday by host Scott Simon for his side regarding the accusations, he just nodded no.
Not a single comment came out of Cosby's lips when Simon asked him again about the issue. Eventually, the host just changed the topics after that awkward pause and went back on asking him about he and his wife's African Art collection that is displayed at the Smithsonian Institution.
This is not exactly the first time Cosby has received these kinds of accusations when a lot of women have reportedly came out and told stories about him harassing them. All of those seemed to be buried issues until Barbara Bowman came out and wrote a lengthy essay for the Washington Post claiming she drugged first and raped by the comedian.
The comedian remained to be tight-lipped during the NPR interview when this issue was brought up. Cosby also has a lot of cancelled appearances on TV like the late night interview on David Letterman's show that was supposed to be on Wednesday. Cosby's rep didn't tell the reason why his interview was cancelled.
Bowman bravely accounted what Cosby did to her in the 80s and now he was once again placed on spotlight with such misdeeds. The last time Cosby was accused of the same charges was back in 2006 but was then settled by the actor him, this is according to Associated Press.
