NBC Cancels Deal With Bill Cosby For a New Sitcom

Comedian Bill Cosby has quite been the talk of the news and even though he wants all of these to stop, it looks like it is not happening anytime soon.

Since the allegations of him sexually assaulting a number of women, networks who were supposed to have deals with him for some projects turned down their offer and that includes NBC. According to USA Today, the network decided to not continue with it.

Another opportunity for him to have work was also cancelled, which was supposed to be the airing of a special feature show called Bill Cosby at 77. But Netflix who will be streaming it decided not to pursue with it as well.

Now that Janice Dickinson also came out in the open to admit what the comedian has done to her back in the 80s when she was still a young model, all eyes are now more focused on Cosby and his rape charges.

New York Daily News confirmed that NBC indeed is no longer interested about their project with the comedian and their rep Rebecca Marks even said that is no longer under development. She refused to give further comments after that.

The show didn't exactly have a script yet according to the Daily News and the network just decided to botch it since of the whole rape scandal the comedian is facing.

All the women who accused Cosby were brave enough to go on public and layout what exactly happened to them. This is not the first sexual harassment scandal that Cosby has faced because in 2006, his lawyer just had the case silenced.

Dickinson's recent claim just made the whole thing stirred especially when she elaborated what she recalled that the comedian has done to her. Not a word was yet to receive from Cosby's camp.
