On Sunday, Universal Pictures released a 15-second teaser for the upcoming trailer of the movie, "Jurassic World." The company unveiled the video with a tagline, "The Park is Open." The movie is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015 while its first movie trailer will be released on Nov. 27 at 9 p.m. eastern time.
It has been more than 20 years since "Jurassic Park" changed everyone's childhood in the '90s. And on Thanksgiving, the first movie trailer of the upcoming film, "Jurassic World" will be unveiled on NBC. It is the fourth installment for a Steven Spielberg's original 1993 film.
"Jurassic World" is an upcoming science-fiction adventure film and the fourth in the "Jurassic Park" series. The director for the first two films, Steven Spielberg, is the executive producer of the movie. Colin Trevorrow is directing a screenplay co-written by Derek Connolly while Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall are producing. When ask about a reboot, Trevorrow said he wanted to create something "less episodic."
"We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story," Trevorrow said, according to The Independent UK.
The cast of "Jurassic World" includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, BD Wong and Irrfan Khan.
The "Jurassic World" plot depicts the happenings twenty two years after the "Jurassic Park" events, where Isla Nubar now features a fully-functional dinosaur theme park, The Telegraph reported. The new park is owned by the Masrani Corporation. Owen, played by Chris Pratt, is the park's onsite staff member who conducts research on Velociraptors. After many years, the park's attendance rates decreases and a new attraction was installed to boost visitors. However, the attempt to re-spark visitor interests gravely backfires and disasters started.
Since the "Jurassic World" teaser was revealed, many fans are too excited and have been launching countdowns for the first full trailer on Thursday. According to JurassicWorld.org, the full trailer will feature a 2-minute, 33-second Jurassic goodness.
