"We're in this to try and win it, so I will do what I have to do, and I will deal with whatever I have to deal with to try to win this," Ribeiro stated after his agonizing week 10 performance.
During the first of the two-night finale on Monday, Ribeiro also admitted that performing on the reality dance show was something he had wanted to do for ten years.
"I've wanted it forever, oh my god. I don't even know what to say... These are happy tears!" Ribeiro emotionally said. Yahoo! TV reported that he also credited Carson for his success in the competition.
"We've had so many highs and some pretty low lows," Ribeiro said. "I don't think I would have ever gotten here with anyone else but you [referring to Carson]."
After the Season 19 "DWTS" results night, the long-running reality dance show will continue in the spring with its twentieth season as it marks its 10-year anniversary.
