The motive for the Morgantown shooting is not clear, although investigators have found a Facebook post containing hints of Hunt's problems with a woman; most likely an ex-girlfriend or wife.

According to Monongalia County Circuit Court records, one of the victims, Sharon Kay Berkshire, filed a domestic violence case against Hunt just last month.

"I poured out my heart to her only to be manipulated as to what I could give her," Hunt's Facebook post reads. "Life is short. It's not all games. Dont play a game with one's heart."

"My actions were not right nor were the actions of those who tried to tear me down and take from me. This was not the plan but a struggle to see that those who strive to hurt me received their fair pay of hurt like I received, he wrote.
