West Virginia Shooting; Gunman Found Dead After Killing Four Others; Heartbreak May Have Led Suspect To Go On Shooting Rampage

The gunman who went on a shooting spree that killed four people in West Virginia was found dead on Monday night.

In a report by ABC News, 39-year old Jody Lee Hunt began the shooting spree on Monday morning wherein he killed Michael David Frum, 28, Sharon Kay Berkshire, 39, and Doug Brady. Brady ran a towing company located near that of Hunt's J&J Towing and Repair LLC in Westover. The fourth victim has yet to be identified.

Frum's aunt, Ellen Shafer admitted that she knew very little about her nephew's death, adding that all they can do right now is to try to move on from what happened.

As of this posting, law enforcement officials have not released any further details about the incident, as they intend to piece up all the necessary information first before making any statement.

The manhunt for the gunman began as early as 10am on the same day, with his black 2011 Ford F-150 as the only piece of evidence that they have. The shooting spree took place at three different locations: Westover, around the Cheat Lake area, and somewhere outside Morgantown.

On Monday night, police finally got hold of Hunt's whereabouts. According to reports by the State Police, the suspect was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the woods by the southern part of Monongalia County.

Meanwhile, a Facebook post by Hunt seemed to have opened up various possibilities about his motives for the killings.

In a report by WAJR, the gunman may have been dealing with personal problems, particularly involving a woman believed to be romantically linked to him.

"I poured out my heart to her only to be maniupulated as to what I could give her," the post reads. "Life is short. It's not all games. Don't play a game with ones heart."

The next lines of the post seemed to be an indication of the gruesome events that followed.

"My actions were not right nor were the actions of those who tried to tear me down and take from me. This was not the plan but a struggle to see that those who strives to hurt me received their fair pay of hurt like I received."
