Lakers Jeremy Lin's New Line of Adidas Shoes Unveiled; “Linsanity Mid” To Hit Market Soon

Leading sportswear-maker Adidas has given sneakers lovers a 'first look' at Jeremy Lin's own line of shoes, the Linsanity Mid, which is expected to be officially launched in the upcoming Jeremy Lin x Adidas "Linsanity" Collection.

Sneaker News released some of the initial designs for the Linsanity Mid collection, which features both high-cut and low-cut versions, and so far it has drawn pretty nice reviews.

"The partnership between Adidas and Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin is beginning to gain steam as the year comes to a close. Up until this point, Lin was a guest star for themed inline releases like the Adidas Crazy 8 "Jeremy Lin."

"Now the Harvard grad is the proud owner of his very own shoe, the Linsanity Mid. This signature model plays a central role in the forthcoming Jeremy Lin x Adidas "Linsanity" Collection."

Adidas has not issued yet the pricing and release details of the shoes, but the Linsanity Mid collection is expected to be among the best-selling shoes this Holiday season, particularly in the Asian market where the Lakers point guard is commanding a huge fan base.

Averaging at least 12 points and 5 assists this season, the 26-year old Lin has done a pretty solid job after his first month as the Lakers' starting point guard.

Ever since he arrived in Hollywood following the completion of a trade with the Houston Rockets last summer, Lin is expected to generate tremendous buzz in the city because of the huge Asian-American community in Los Angeles.

Other than the forthcoming sneaker release, Lin is also making waves among fantasy basketball players because of his good numbers as of late. After a shaky start, the former Harvard standout has steadily put up better numbers in his last five games, averaging 15.6 points and 5.8 assists in 31 minutes of playing time.

"Lin is playing at a top 65-85 level after a terrible start and as long as he stays healthy he'll probably return solid mid-round value," according to Roto World.
