Kate Middleton Baby Update - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are all set for their first New York City trip on Sunday. The British royal couple, who's expecting their second child, will reportedly stay at Carlyle Hotel on Upper Madison Avenue in Manhattan during their 3-day stay.
The royals' New York trip is not their first US visit. Hello Magazine said the regal couple had previously a brief stop in Los Angeles at the end of their post-wedding Canada tour. Meanwhile Duchess Kate Middleton, currently pregnant with her second child, is allegedly expecting a baby girl in April 2015. In the latest royal pregnancy update, the duchess is "starting to feel really pregnant."
"Kate's starting to feel really pregnant," a source told Us Weekly. "She's been joking about never passing up an opportunities to use the loo! Now that things are settled health-wise, she's loving being surrounded by her girlfriends, having a laugh and talking baby things."
Early in her first trimester, 32-year-old Kate Middleton was forced to stay at home while suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum or severe morning sickness. But now, the New York-bound duchess seemed to have recovered already.
Almost halfway through her second pregnancy, Kate Middleton has been discussing with Prince William about what to buy for their nursery. And to help the royal duchess, her 31-year-old sister, Pippa allegedly planned a perfectly pink baby shower before her Big Apple trip, as per the Hollywood Life update.
Though previous reports of Kate Middleton expecting a baby girl has not been confirmed, Star Magazine updated that a source from the palace revealed that a baby shower fit for a process is underway.
"There were pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake," a source revealed. "Pink sponge [cake] and strawberry filling."
During the alleged baby shower, Kate Middleton was accompanied by her 16-month-old son, Prince George. Based on the latest update, the prince had everyone cooing due to his overwhelming cuteness.
"He had pink icing all around his mouth and everyone was taking photos of him," the source added.
While the Clarence House has yet to confirm the gender of Kate Middleton and Prince William's baby, several updates claim the couple is indeed expecting a little princess. So are the British royals expecting a baby girl next year? Perhaps the couple will confirm the rumors while they're on their 3-day New York City tour.
