Stephanie Moseley: Floyd Mayweather's Rap Artist Kills Actress Wife And Commits Suicide

Stephanie Moseley - A rapper and his actress/dancer wife have been found dead at their Los Angeles home on Monday morning in a suspected murder-suicide.

The Los Angeles Police Department has identified the couple as Earl Warren Hayes, a 31-year-old rapper and member of Floyd Mayweather Jr's record label, while his wife has been identified as 30-year-old Stephanie Elyse Moseley, the star of VH1's drama series Hit the Floor.

The tragic incident is reported to have happened around 7 a.m. at the couple's high-end home in Palazzo East. Authorities were called to scene after receiving distress calls from a neighbor, who overheard gun shots and a woman screaming.

LAPD Capt.Ron Leslie said officers responded to the call with a SWAT team. After entering the apartment, authorities found a back bedroom door closed. As they tried to break in two more gunshots were heard. Two bodies were found inside the room.

According to local sources, at least 10 shot were fired. LAPD initial reports indicate that Earl Hayes shot and killed Stephanie Moseley before taking his own life. The couple were pronounced dead on the scene.

According to reports from TMZ, Earl Hayes had called his good friend Floyd Mayweather, prior to the fatal incident, to complain that Stephanie Moseley was cheating on him with a popular singer. Hayes is said to have been very upset and threatened to kill Moseley. While Mayweather was pleading with him, the rapper then pulled out his gun and shot her repeatedly before turning the weapon on himself.

"Floyd is in shock and is having extreme difficulty dealing with the fact that he witnessed a horrifying murder-suicide," TMZ writes.

Other sources report that the boxing champion has confirmed being on the phone with Hayes at the time of the murder. No further details have been disclosed.

The murder-suicide of Stephanie Moseley and her husband Earl Hayes has shocked many. Tributes to Moseley and Hayes have flooded the Internet since the tragic news became viral.

"No one seen this coming-because, again, Hayes is not a violent guy," Burrel Wilks, his friend and life coach, said."We're devastated. We're at a loss for words on this one."

"Stephanie [Moseley] was an absolute angel. She really was..She brought so many people into my life. She's connected to so many people," Eva Marcille Pigford, Moseley's friend and fellow model said. "She's just loved. She will never, ever, ever, ever be forgotten."

"RIP baby girl." R&B singer Chris Brown wrote on Instagram. "[Stephanie Moseley] danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and HAZE family."

Rap mogul 50 Cent also sent a tribute via Instagram. "RIP Hayes, @floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don't you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever, but I don't want to see you go out like that."

VH1 has issued a statement concerning Stephanie Moseley's death. "We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley," it said. "VH1 and the entire Hit The Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time."

Stephanie Moseley was born in Vancouver, Canada. She moved to L.A. in 2004, where she has been working. Moseley appeared in The Twilight Sage: Breaking Dawn-Part 1, Sparkle, and Mirror Mirror.
