New information on Anna Chapman, the beautiful Russian Spy arrested in New York in 2010, is being released.
FBI counterintelligence chief, Frank Figliuzzi, revealed in an interview with the BBC that Chapman was "close enough [to the administration's inner-circle] to disturb." Figliuzzi continued that the relationship got to the point that the FBI could "no longer allow this to continue." The fear of Chapman seducing a member of President Obama's administration is what brought on the arrest of a Russian spy ring in 2010. The cabinet member in question has not been revealed.
"We were becoming very concerned," said Figliuzzi, although he revealed that any information she gained could have been found through a Google search.
Chapman was one of 10 agents deported in July 2010, reports the Huffington Post. Since leaving the U.S., Chapman has been able to stay in the limelight. Besides hosting a TV program, and becoming the celebrity face of a Moscow Bank, Chapman also donned lingerie for Russia's Maxim magazine.
In March the red-headed beauty took the runway for the second year in a row at Russia's Fashion week. Chapman was dressed in skin tight leather, which the Daily Mail cites as perfect for a James Bond film.
