Avril Lavigne Health: Canadian Pop Star Keeps Serious Health Issues A Secret?

Avril Lavigne Health - Over the weekend, Avril Lavigne has worried her fans when she admitted in a social media conversation that her absence from the public these days is due to some health issues. The Canadian pop star, who is married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, has not been seen publicly since September.

Avril Lavigne's health struggles were first publicized through a fan account on social media site, Twitter. According to Us Weekly, the singer's fan account shared a screenshot of a direct message conversation, in which Lavigne admitted that she has not been feeling well.

"I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them [know] why I've been absent," Avril Lavigne responded to her fan on Twitter. "I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."

Though some Avril Lavigne's fans speculated that the health issues the 30-year-old punk rock princess were experiencing is due to an alleged pregnancy, her representative promptly dispelled the rumors.

"The health issue could not be specified but it was confirmed that Lavigne is not pregnant, as some have speculated," Billboard reported while also confirming the authenticity of the Twitter direct message exchange between the singer and a fan.

Avril Lavigne's health issues came after a few months of marriage rumors circulated. The Daily Mail reported the speculations claimed the singer's marriage to Chad Kroeger, who she married in July 2013, was on the rocks. The troubles on her personal life spread when she celebrated her 30th birthday in Las Vegas sans her husband.

Meanwhile, Lavigne's husband Chad Kroeger found the marriage rumors as "amusing." He also addressed the speculation that his marriage is in trouble.

"Sometimes it's funny," Kroeger said. "When you're standing in the checkout line at the grocery store and you look over and it's your face on there. Not the ... Kardashians ... and Brangelinas ... it's 'Chavril. You're like, 'Can I buy all these? So that no one can see?'"

The 39-year-old Nickelback front man also added that their families were the ones affected of the rumors.

"My family members hear this stuff ... and then they call me up very concerned," he added. "You know my dad calls me up and he's just like, 'I haven't slept in 2 days, what's going on?' I'm like, 'Dad you're not buying all this crap are you?' You know, I get to hear all the rumor mill stuff. I find it very amusing."

While Avril Lavigne has yet to publicly comment about her health status, USA Today said the singer's fans adopted the hashtags #GetWellSoonAvril and #PrayForAvril on Twitter which Lavigne thank them on Sunday.
