Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have been rumored to have found love in each other. The rumors claimed about an alleged romance between the two. However on Sunday, the 18-year-old model finally decided to clarify the rumors.
Buzzes about a developing romantic relationship between 18-year-old Hailey Baldwin and 22-year-old Justin Bieber have spread lately. But during the "Exodus: Gods and Kings" premiere in New York, Baldwin dispelled the rumors while talking to E! News and assured that the claims about a romance between them were false.
"We've just been good friends," Hailey Baldwin said. "I've known him since I was so young - since I was like 13 - and we've just been good friends over the years. We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that."
In recent weeks, romance rumors had ignited when Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber had been seen spending a lot of time together. The Daily Mail reported they were even spotted having lunch at Spago in Beverly Hills and watching an LA Clippers game last week. The alleged couple also posted several snapshots on their respective Instagram accounts showing their time together.
Though dating rumors were denied, Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber just kept on spending time together. The stars were seen and photographed shopping at Target in Los Angeles before spending more than an hour playing arcade games at Family Amusement Corporation. Baldwin was also caught giving Bieber an impassioned embrace at a Los Angeles recording studio.
It was also reported on Dec. 2 that Baldwin was snapped as she wrapped her legs around the Canadian pop star while sharing a hug. And despite the fact that Hailey has set the record straight, Hollywood Life said it is still quite hard to determine whether the two are just "flirty friends" or there's really something more.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber, who was in an on-and-off-again relationship with singer-actress Selena Gomez, was reportedly using his charm in attempting to take his friendship status with Hailey Baldwin to the next level.
Although Hailey Baldwin has already dispelled the romance rumors with Justin Bieber, some Hollywood insiders still find her admission cynical as they were seen spending a lot of time with each other after Bieber's breakup from Selena Gomez.
