Duchess Kate Eye Roll - Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton usually projects a flawless public image. However, during a charity event at the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem, she had a rare persona slip for a second when she rolled her eyes while wrapping gifts.
During the royals' 3-day NYC trip, Duchess Kate showed that though a royal, she too has a sassy side. At a recent charity event on Monday, E! News reported the stunningly perfect 32-year-old expectant mom proved that she is indeed human when she was caught in rare candid moment where she rolled her eyes at the gift wrapping station.
In the video that went viral, Duchess Kate amusingly did an epic eye roll when a woman told her to "keep wrapping." As shown in the short clip, The Daily Mail said the royal duchess was busily wrapping a gift when a well-wisher tapped her on the shoulder.
In spite of the rude interruption, Kate Middleton apparently enjoyed the experience at the charity event. Kate reportedly spent some time chatting with a group of local grandmothers to help wrap presents intended for some of NYC's impoverished children.
Later that same day, the royal duchess suffered the indignity of being hugged by a sweaty basketball player when she and Prince William attended the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers game, which was the couple's first-watched NBA match. Though, NBA star LeBron "King" James hugged her, Kate wasn't in the least put out by the second incident.
Aside from meeting James, who was criticized for his royal protocol in putting an arm around the royal duchess, the British royal couple also met the music royalties Jay Z and Beyoncé.
Duchess Kate's eye roll incident transpired during a visit to a child development center in the underprivileged Harlem district of New York. Since the duchess' display of irritation was a rarity, her brief and candid persona slip made a buzz.
Usually composed, Kate's facial expression in the video showed a glimpse of her royally unimpressed side eye, raising her eyebrows and grinning cheekily has gone viral, The Daily Telegraph said.
Since making endless appearances can be a little exhausting, five-month pregnant Duchess Kate just showed her amusingly royal cheeky side when she was candidly caught giving a light-hearted eye roll, which was definitely a rare image slipup for the Duchess of Cambridge.
