Speculations about the design and feature of the upcoming iPhone7 have started, Mac World reported.
Apple is reportedly releasing an iPhone 7 although the iPhone6 and iPhone 6 Plus were just released several months ago. As a new year comes, Apple may unveil a new iPhone model. Rumors have been circulating as to what kind of smart phone Apple will produce.
Screen
iPhone 6's 4.7 inches screen is known to be a favorite of customers. The 5.5 inches screen size of iPhone 6 plus is deemed as too big. It has been noted that iPhone 6 sells better than the 6 plus. This fueled speculations that Apple will release another 4-inch size model and that will be iPhone 7.
A sapphire display will most likely emerge with the new model. Sapphire comes second after diamond as the hardest compound on earth. This would mean that the screen will be hard to break and scratch, according to C Net.
Design
Customers can expect that Apple will not suddenly deviate from its traditional design. The company may not be willing to make a risky move and change its design to something that is not yet tested in the market. Although bigger smart phones have emerged, iPhone 7 will most probably be the same handy device as its predecessors but a little thicker.
Added Features
It was predicted that a wireless charger will come in handy with the iPhone 6 but that was not the case. Apple is probably reserving the wireless charger feature for the upcoming iPhone 7. Customers have been longing for this feature since charging can be inconvenient. This will serve as a breakthrough and may engage more buyers.
Another rumored feature is a 3D naked eye display option, wherein users can watch 3D even without glasses.
Camera
It has been said that Apple will have a breakthrough in their camera for the next model. iPhone 7 will reportedly have two lenses that can result to DSLR-quality images, Tech Radar reported.
Processor
Apple is allegedly tapping Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to provide the chips for the iPhone 7. However, Samsung still wants to be the company's provider and they offer competitive prices. No specification about the processor has been released yet.
Storage
Since iOs 8 has been released, Apple may stop producing 16GB models. This is because the update may be too large for 16GB only. iPhone 7 will probably start with 32GB handsets.
Release date
Rumored release date for the iPhone 7 is in the middle of September 2015. Speculations also rose that Apple may release two models per year.
