Well, probably not boiled to death, but the autopsy did find that the bath water was quite hot when Whitney was found dead - almost six hours after she supposedly passed!
The full autopsy, which was released on Wednesday, reported that Whitney was found dead in her bathtub at 3:46 by her assistant, who had last seen her at 3 p.m. before she went to Nieman Marcus to pick something up.
But the most shocking part was that when investigators took the temperature of the water at 9:35 p.m. - six hours before she died - they found that it was an "extremely hot" 93.5 degrees Fahrenheit - far too hot for a bath. That led them to believe that she was knocked unconscious and fell into the tub before she meant to. They also found "yellow-brown" marks on her forehead, left eyebrow, and nose, which were said to have been inflicted when she died or just afterwards. There also wrote that a "bloody purge was coming out of her nose."
As for the substances found in her system, the pills - Flexeril, Xanax, and Benadryl - were found in very low amounts, and even the cocaine was only found in "moderate" quantities. Despite previous reporting, no alcohol was detected in her system at the time of her death.
On the bathroom counter investigators found a "small spoon with a white crystal-like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper," a bottle of prescription medications, a ripped, small plastic bag and an ashtray with cigarette butts. In the drawer they found "remnants of a white, powdery substance and a portable mirror on a base," along with a "plethora of prescription medication bottles" in the main hotel room.
