Due to the controversy, Mia Khalifa was not only the top porn star but also the most bullied personality online. However, her instant fame has also paved the way for attracting more followers on her official Instagram and Twitter accounts, International Business Times cited. Although she mainly attracted disapproving backtalk, the controversy also yielded a song that is now gaining a lot of attention online.
Amidst the cyber criticisms war, the scandalous damsel-in-distress found two knights in her defense. According to MTV, American duo Timeflies decided to compose and dedicate a song to the porn star entitled, "Mia Khalifa." It was posted two days ago on SoundCloud but a You Tube version has also been released, which has enticed over 200,000 views.
Though Lebanon has been widely considered as one of the most liberated Middle Eastern nations, the subject of porn film is still universally unacceptable. Thus dubbing Khalifa as a "disgrace" to her native land, Lebanese Examiner stated.
But Mia Khalifa never concedes to the negative comments, death threats and cyber-bullying, instead she just savors her instant stardom.
