Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt’s French Wedding Just For A Show?!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's romantic French wedding seemed to be just for a show after several reports revealed that the couple were already married in California several months earlier. The A-list Hollywood stars have been together for ten years and have been engaged since 2012.

Angelina Jolie revealed that she and Brad Pitt had already tied the knot in a private ceremony at their California residence several months prior to their wedding in France. The shocking news was revealed by the "Unbroken" director to IO Donna, an Italian magazine.

"Before the wedding in France with the kids, Brad and I were already married in California," Jolie confessed. "As Americans, we couldn't marry legally in France."

As reported, Angelina Jolie's decision to marry Brad Pitt transpired without so much preparation and deliberation.

"One day I said to Brad, 'Honey, let's meet up at 4:30 p.m.' then I took a break for an hour," the 39-year-old actress said. "I called a justice of the peace and we signed the documents. Then we looked at each other and said, 'We did it!' We were happy and we laughed. It was romantic!"

Though Angelina Jolie shared some details of her wedding with Brad Pitt, she never revealed the date of the original ceremony to the Italian publication. But she said that the same judge that married them in the States performed their nondenominational wedding in France.

During Jolie's wedding to 51-year-old Brad Pitt in France, the actress revealed that their children did an amazing job as wedding planners for the big day. The couple's six kids also decorated Jolie's veil and even helped write their parents' vows. The ceremony took place at the family's French estate, Château Miraval.

"The eight of us celebrated and Brad and I committed our lives to the children," she told People. She then added, "They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, 'Sorry,' if we do. So they said, 'Do you?' and we said, 'We do!'"

Meanwhile after the ceremony, Jolie, who was filming "Unbroken" at the time, resume her work without wearing a ring on her finger. Angelina Jolie also confessed that her marriage to Brad Pitt has changed things within her family dynamics.

"It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife," she told Vanity Fair magazine.

Indeed, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are really in love with each other since they have two weddings, in California and in France.

"We love each other enough to be married twice," Jolie stated.
