"Revenge" Season 4 Spoilers - The midseason comeback of "Revenge" Season 4 seemed to have intensified after its premiere just a few weeks ago. And as the epic tale of vengeance begins to unravel, new developments on the characters and storyline will be expected.
Gabriel Mann, the actor who plays the Nolan Ross, recently revealed some twists about his character in "Revenge" Season 4. According to TVLine, there will be some great surprises for Mann's television character. Ross will also have his big moment in the series' second half.
"There's something hugely big for Nolan that we're literally on the precipice of," the actor teased. "I think it changes the course of Season 4 for him."
Mann also clued in that the twist for "Revenge" Season 4 might be because of a certain guest who made his debut in the Hamptons in episode 12. International Business Times pointed out that the houseguest is Louis' (Elena Santine) brother, Lyman (Sebastian Pigott).
"[He's] going to delve into Louise's world and see all the baggage she brings with her," he added. But aside from the huge twists, Mann also revealed about a possibility of a budding love life for Ross.
"This season, I thought Nolan needed to take a little bit of a break ... but [his love life] is not going to be dry for a whole lot longer," Mann revealed.
However, "Revenge" is having some rating issues this season. According to MStarz, the ABC series premiered to 10 million viewers several years ago. But its latest episode only drew 4 million.
In spite of the thrilling twists and turns in the latest episodes of "Revenge" Season 4, Fashion & Style reported that the show is having some difficulty in finding and holding an audience. Thus, it became a target of cancellation rumors. So, is there really a threat for a "Revenge" finale this season?
The rumors seemed to be untrue as ABC boss Paul Lee faced TV critics and stated that though the show is having some rating issues, it would not be a reason for cancellation.
"We have some great storylines coming up," Lee said then added, "There is a way to reinvent the show."
Another sign that "Revenge" won't be dropped is the latest report from SpoilerTV that the series has officially added an episode in its fourth season. Carter Matt also explained that the 23rd installment, which will air at some point before the finale, will be some sort of "clip show hybrid."
Meanwhile, actor James Tupper, who plays David Clarke, shared his take on "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 13 tilted "Abduction," which will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
"The furnace of hell has been lit ... I'm not going to let someone take my daughter away from me," Tupper told Entertainment Weekly. "I'm on the revenge path. It's a really fun episode. We have so much fun doing social gatherings, but the other thing is sometimes it becomes this ninja show. We lean heavily into the ninja in the next episode."
