Aside from conflicts, romances and baby news, executive producer Stephen Nathan has also warned through a TVLine statement that "Bones" Season 10 avid fans might not like what is coming up for the show.
"As with most new situations that have arisen in 10 years, we feel that this can only enhance the show," Nathan stated as quoted by KPopStarz. "Although I'm sure there will be a vocal group of fans eager to attack me, I hope they will be pleasantly surprised by what we have in store."
Meanwhile, there may be some good and bad news for "Bones" fans as FOX network hinted for a possible Season 11. Unfortunately, it appears that another season might mean an end for the show. It was also reported the network is doing some negotiations with the show's lead stars, Deschanel and Boreanaz, whose contracts expiring this spring.
"We can't announce it today because deals aren't closed, but we love the show," FOX Chairman and CEO Dana Walden said during the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter press tour, as Digital Spy UK reported. "It's been so meaningful to the studio and nothing would make us happier than doing another year."
Fellow FOX Executive Gary Newman also confirmed that there are indeed negotiations for another season after "Bones" Season 10. However, it is unclear if the show will end after.
"I think that it's likely to be a one-season conversation at this point, which I think makes them more comfortable and I think probably makes sense for the network as well," Newman stated.
With all these reports, updates and rumors, avid viewers of the hit FOX crime series may find it hard to patiently wait for "Bones" season 10. But it will surely be worth the wait as it makes it return on television on March after a long winter hiatus.
