Mohammed Emwazi EXPOSED: Why ISIS’ Notorious Executioner Known As ‘Jihadi John’ Was Finally Named?

ISIS' "Jihadi John" has finally been identified as Mohammed Emwazi. He was famously known to be the notorious executioner in several barbarous videos released by the Islamic State terrorists. According to BBC News, Emwazi first appeared in a video last August when he apparently killed American journalist, James Foley.

According to sources familiar with his case, Mohammed Emwazi is a 26-year-old Kuwaiti-born British man from West London, UK. According to The Washington Post, he came from a well-to-do family and graduated from college with a degree in computer programming at the University of Westminster.

Mohammed Emwazi has also 3 siblings, one brother and two sisters while his father reportedly ran a minicab firm, The Daily Mail learned. He has been described as a "polite" and bearded man who enjoyed dressing in stylish clothes. However, he was very cautious in making eye contact with women.  Mashable reported he speaks both English and Arabic languages fluently.

In May 2009, Emwazi, along with two other young Muslims, went to Dar es Salaam but were refused passage. Upon returning to Europe, he claimed the British secret service agency MI5 accused him of going to Somalia to join al-Qaida affiliate al-Shabaab. Heavy.com said Emwazi denied the allegations and relocated to Kuwait in 2010 to begin working in a computer company.

Before joining the Islamic State in 2012, Mohammed Emwazi travelled back to London but was detained again by the British authorities. After his release, he travelled to Syria and eventually joined the ruthless terrorist group, ISIS.

Prior to his association with ISIS, Mohammed Emwazi contacted CAGE, an advocacy group for those affected by terrorism war. He told them he was subsequently harassed by counter terrorism officials, Newsweek reported.

Though Emwazi left remarkably little online trail, details about his early life and radicalization have started to materialize. The Guardian noted no social media were found that could be linked to him. And extensive online searching only revealed his name to be under Britain's electoral poll.

Meanwhile, Scotland Yard refused to confirm the identification of Mohammed Emwazi as "Jihadi John," New York Times reported.  The office of the prime minister had not yet commented as well.

"We are not going to confirm the identity of anyone at this stage or give an update on the progress of this live counterterrorism investigation," said Richard Walton of the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command.

The University of Westminster has also released a statement saying Mohammed Emwazi left the university six years ago and they are shocked by the news, Channel 4 quoted.

"If these allegations are true, we are shocked and sickened by the news," a spokesman from the university stated. "We have students from 150 countries and their safety is of paramount concern."

It is still unknown how Mohammed Emwazi was identified by the security services but FBI had already said they knew the true identity of "Jihadi John" just a month after Foley's death. But why was he named?

It was believed Mohammed Emwazi was exposed since US has no longer any reported hostages in Syria and there was less of an incentive to withhold his name.
