Suge Knight News - The 49-year-old former rap mogul, Suge Knight, has been for an alleged murder in a hit-and-run in January 2015. After a horrific hit-and-run video emerged, should Knight fear the court's guilty verdict?
Suge Knight was expected in court Monday to face the murder charges against him. And just hours before his courtroom appearance, an appalling video purportedly showing the crime he committed emerged online, Los Angeles Times reported.
Based on the latest news about Suge Knight, a graphic video obtained by TMZ will definitely play a vital role in his murder trial. In the horrendous clip, Knight's red pick-up truck was seen pulling up to Tam's Burgers in Compton, the filming location of Dr. Dre's NWA biopic. According to Knight, he was there "to make peace" with Dre.
However, the Jan. 29-recorded video depicted another story. As Knight pulled up, Cle "Bone" Sloan promptly confronted the Death Row Records co-founder. Then Knight was seen backing up and clip Sloan and knocked him down, The New York Post's Page Six revealed.
Just a few seconds later, the accused speeds forward and run over 51-year-old Sloan for the second time before plowing 55-year-old Terry Carter. As reported on the latest Suge Knight news, during the incident, Sloan survived but was seriously hurt while Carter died from his injuries.
The recently-released video, which implicates Suge Knight on the crime he committed last January, was released by TMZ upon the request of Carter's family, Bustle learned.
"The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video," said the Carter family lawyer, Gary Dordick, in a statement to TMZ. "So the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video."
Though the prosecutors claim Suge Knight intentionally ran the men over as The Daily Mail reported, he has pleaded not guilty. He and his lawyers even claimed that he was trying to escape the lot out of fear of being killed, which was paired with a claim that Sloan and Carter both had guns.
The graphic video shows the fatality in the hit-and-run, which means that Suge Knight is likely to face jail time for manslaughter no matter what the ultimate outcome of the more serious murder charge.
Do you think Suge Knight fears the court's guilty verdict?
