"Glee" Season 6 Finale Spoilers - Six years ago, FOX changed our usual television viewing when they launched the musical dramedy, "Glee," in 2009. The drama about a group of high school students who make beautiful music together exploded onto the TV screens like no other program.
Tonight, the worldwide phenomenon "Glee" Season 6 will end with a two-hour finale special. Since the show aired its pilot episode, it immediately made headlines. And just a year after it premiered, the "Gleek" was born.
Last week's Episode 11 titled, "We Built This Glee Club," gave us a glimpse of the Sectionals where the New Directions/Warblers supergroup battled with the Vocal Adrenaline. It also showed Rachel's dilemma about being torn between going back to NYADA and joining another Broadway show.
And as the "Glee" Season 6 Finale episodes air tonight, Design & Trend revealed that the two-hour episode will feature a series of flashbacks and flash forwards. While there are no guarantee that "Glee" fans won't shed some tears, it's truly helpful to be prepared.
According to International Business Times, "Glee" Season 6 Finale's first episode title, "2009," will pay tribute to the late Cory Monteith, who tragically died in 2013 due to an apparent overdose. Creator Ryan Murphy said he had always imagined to end the series with an epic Finn story, which definitely inspired him to do a flashback six years ago to honor both the character and the life of the actor who played him.
"The final year of the show... was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn's story. I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was, he was in it," Murphy said, The Christian Times shared. "I knew what the last line was, she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we're figuring that out now."
The second "Glee" Season 6 Finale episode entitled, "Dreams Come True," will feature a five-year time jump, which will allow fans to see the lives of the glee club members post "Glee," particularly one character getting pregnant but with a twist.
As revealed by Wet Paint, a photographic evidence shows Rachel is pregnant. And the twist - the site believes Rach is acting as a surrogate for her good pals, Blaine and Kurt. And speaking of Rachel, TVLine hinted that in "Glee" Season 6 Finale, she will finally say goodbye to single life and the identity of her suitor may surprise fans.
As "Glee" Season 6 Finale takes its one last bow tonight, March 20, at 8 p.m. on FOX, avid fans should prepare for an emotional punch on various levels that will certainly make you cry.
