Kate Middleton has been mum about the gender of her second child. But based on the Duchess of Cambridge's attire during her final public appearance today, royal watchers are speculating she may give birth to a baby girl.
On Mar. 27, Kate Middleton flaunted her baby bump for one last time in a bright pink Mulberry coat, which she wore during her New York visit, at the Stephen Lawrence Centre in London, England. According to Fashion & Style, it was her final public appearance before she gives birth to the royal baby number two.
Together with husband Prince William, 33-year-old Kate Middleton attended several events in South London. E! News reported they started the day at Stephen Lawrence Center, which is a place for learning and social research. The royal couple then learned about a charity for the disadvantaged youth, XLP.
Kate Middleton and Prince William, accompanied by Baroness Doreen Lawrence, also visited Christ Church at Gypsy Hill. The charity works across seven London boroughs, where staff and volunteers serve the community by catering to the social, educational and behavioral needs of youths. The charity also aims to empower them to make clever choices and to realize their potential.
The British royals also toured the facilities and even watched an arts showcase presentation helmed by some of the alumni of the arts program. Furthermore, the soon-to-be-parents again walked on stage to meet the performers.
The third and final stop of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was to view an XLP mobile studio in Sydenham Estate. The studio was reportedly converted from an old police riot van as part of "Pimp My Ride," an MTV reality show.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror revealed that 32-year-old Prince William spoke to a fan over his excitement for the arrival of the second royal baby. The prince even called the experience a "game changer."
"The first time is a learning experience, the second time is a game-changer," Prince William said as retold by Claudia French.
The March 27 public engagement of Kate Middleton and Prince William was the last for the Duchess of Cambridge before she disappears from the public eye. Us Weekly learned the royal duchess is due to give birth in mid to end April.
"I'm due mid-April to the end of April," Kate Middleton replied when a charity volunteer asked her due date. "Not long to go now."
