Uh-oh! Did Justin Bieber poke fun on One Direction's distraught fans? The Canadian pop star is reportedly receiving plenty of hate today after he allegedly ridiculed the Directioners' reaction to Zayn Malik's exit from the British boyband group.
While avid One Direction fans offered an outpouring of support for the Zayn Malik, who recently announced that he will be pursuing a solo career, Justin Bieber took a different stance on the issue. The 21-year-old "Baby" singer ensured fans that he couldn't care less about the news surrounding the famous boy group.
In the latest video by TMZ, the paparazzi caught up with Justin Bieber outside West Hollywood's Bar 20 at the Grafton Hotel. They asked Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend about he felt over Malik's sudden departure from the group.
"Zayn's gone?! Noooooo! Not Zayn!" Bieber exclaimed while pretending to be devastated by the sad news. He was then seen giving a smirk to some fans, who witnessed the encounter. And when asked who he thinks should replace the beloved singer in the group, Bieber replied he don't know.
"Oh, I don't know man," Bieber emphatically responded. "That sucks, though. How many members are there now? Four?"
Bieber's annoyed reaction came days after his fan tweeted One Direction band member Liam Payne, Gossip Cop revealed.
"@Real_Liam_Payne Isn't it kinda depressing for you to know that Justin Bieber will always be more successful than you?" Bieber's fan tweeted. To which Payne responded, "How many times have I been arrested."
Payne's response was a clear shot at the "Beauty and the Beat" hit-maker, who was embattled by legal afflictions for years.
In spite of the fact that Justin Bieber never commented about the social media encounter, the exchange promptly sparked a Twitter feud between the Beliebers and the Directioners, as per the Music Times.
Although it is really not surprising that Justin Bieber isn't concerned at all with what's going on with another pop act, ever-loyal One Direction followers are enraged with the Canadian singer's impish remark regarding Malik's 1D exit.
