Bobbi Kristina Brown Update - For almost 10 weeks since Whitney Houston's only daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unresponsive in her Georgia home, she is still in a state of medically-induced coma and remains on life support.
On Jan. 31, the world was shocked when news broke out that Bobbi Kristina Brown, Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's 22-year-old daughter, was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub filled with water in her home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon in Georgia.
Bobbi Kristina Brown was immediately sent to Emory University Hospital where she was placed in a medically-induced coma. Since then, her condition showed no signs of improvement. Now, International Business Times noted she had been transferred to Dekalb Medical rehab facility, a long-term care center in Atlanta, Georgia. However, her condition remains unchanged.
Since then, dad Bobby Brown is constantly by Bobbi Kristina's side. But that seems to change now after TMZ learned that Bobby is set to fulfill tour dates in Australia. Daily Mail added the 46-year-old singer is scheduled to play three shows with Treach and Kay-Gee of Naughty By Nature at the end of May.
Bobby Brown's Aussie tour dates are reportedly replacements for the shows he canceled back in March. Though Bobby wanted to postpone again, an insider said the promoters are holding him to his contractual obligation, Music Times reported.
Meanwhile, as for Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition, Extra revealed that the family has gotten over the stage of shock and accepted the reality.
"It's quiet and peaceful," the source told People. "The family has brought some things from home for her. Not much - just a few things, like a blanket and some pictures."
"Everyone's all cried out by now," the insider added.
In spite of incessant reports that the Houstons and the Browns are feuding over Bobbi Kristina Brown's $20 million inheritance from her late mother, Whitney Houston, the family insists that money is not an issue, as reported by People.
"Bobby is not thinking about the money and never has been," the family source said. "I want to think that Pat and Gary [Houston] aren't thinking about the money either. We all want what's best for Krissy, and that has never changed. It doesn't matter if she has $20 million or $2 in the bank."
For now, Bobby Brown is in control of his daughter's health decisions and is holding out for a miracle for Bobbi Kristina Brown.
