Josh Murray has finally opened up about his ended too soon romance with "Bachelorette" season 10 str Andi Dorfman.
The 30-year-old television personality recently spoke with OK! magazine at a recent AdvoCare's Mixer event, and he was not spared from addressing his split from Dorfman.
"We're very different people in a lot of very important ways," Murray said of the reason why he and Dorfman decided to go separate ways.
He added, "It just unfortunately didn't work out in the end."
This is the first time that Murray opened up about his split from Dorfman.
After winning "The Bachelorette" Season 10, the former couple got engaged last May.
Despite their reportedly blossoming romance, Murray and Dorfman shocked their fans when they announced on Jan. 8 that they were splitting.
"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," they said in a join statement at the time.
"We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually," the now exes added.
Additionally, in the wake of their breakup, Dorfman insisted that she and Murray would "continue to be good friends. However, the former baseball player exposed that since they parted ways he has not been in touch with Dorfman, according to Design & Trend.
"She lives in New York and I'm in Atlanta and I've been very, very busy, as I'm sure she has a hectic schedule," Murray said. "We really don't have much time to really speak much."
"There's a lot of emotion there so it's hard to keep a positive, healthy relationship going on now," Dorfman was quoted saying in the wake of their split. "And I think both of us get upset about each other's actions... it's not a healthy place right now."
