MET Gala Red Carpet 2015 - These days, formal events don't seem to actually require their attendees to wear anything, and the recently concluded 2015 MET Gala was no exception! During the fashion exhibition, several celebs definitely went commando as they wore dresses that are almost next to nothing.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute gala is an annual fundraising event that costs $25,000 per ticket. According to Daily Mail, this year's theme was "China: Through the Looking Glass." And celebrities indeed turned the MET Gala Red Carpet 2015 as an ultimate fashion spectacle as they flaunted their jaw-dropping dresses on Wednesday night.
The 2015 MET Gala was chaired by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and co-chaired by "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence. As several high-profile celebs descended in New York City, several entertainment Web sites can't help but notice some eye-popping ensembles.
Wednesday night's MET Gala Red Carpet 2015 appeared to be a battle of all the naked-est looks between A-list Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé, who wore the raciest ensembles. As reported by Daily Mirror, the trio proved that this year, the fashion trend was dominated by see-through dresses that showed off serious skin.
While Queen Bey barely covered her modesty in the stunningly sequined Givenchy creation, Kim K left very little to the imagination in her sheer Roberto Cavalli gown. And Jennifer Lopez did not disappoint the MET Gala Red Carpet 2015 by wearing a ruby-colored Versace gown that exposed her naked hip. But aside from showing off her body, a new diamond sparkler is also noticeable on the 45-year-old "American Idol" judge's ring finger.
Meanwhile, aside from Beyoncé, Kim K and J. Lo, Rosie Huntington-Whitely also rocked the barely-there showdown with her nude floor-length Versace gown with a thigh-high slit. Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, visibly went commando as she exposed her taut tummy and hips in a long-sleeved studded black Alexander Wang gown that featured large cut-outs at the waist.
Kim K's sister, Kendall Jenner, also turned heads during the event as she showcased plenty of sideboob in her green Calvin Klein ensemble. British supermodel Jourdan Dunn certainly dressed to impress in her striking ruby-red Burberry gown, featuring a thigh-high split and a peekaboo neckline.
As the aforementioned stars opted barely-there gowns during the MET Gala Red Carpet 2015, other celebs including Gigi Hadid, Lady Gaga, Sienna Miller, Cara Delevingne, Candice Swanepoel, Naomi Campbell, Elizabeth Banks and Uma Thurman chose plunging-neckline and cleavage-baring gowns.
Do you think the celebrities went too far in wearing see-through dress at the MET Gala Red Carpet 2015?
