‘Supergirl’ 2015: CBS Finally Releases ‘Supergirl’ Trailer! A New Journey Of Heroism To Premiere In November

"Supergirl" 2015 - CBS has finally dive into the superhero-themed television series trend. Recently, the network released the official trailer of their new show, "Supergirl," which is set to premiere in November.

The new CBS series features 26-year-old actress, Melissa Benoist, who will the role of the show's iconic heroine, Kara Zor-El, Superman's Kryptonian cousin. "Supergirl" 2015's story will revolve around Kara's journey of becoming a full-pledged superhero.

"SUPERGIRL is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El, Superman's (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be," an excerpt of the official synopsis reads, as per Comic Book. "Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents' help at the same time as the infant Kal-El."

"Supergirl" 2015 also features Mehcad Brook, Calista Flockhart, David Harewood and Chyler Leigh. While Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler, Sarah Schecter and Andrew Kreisberg are the executive producers.
