"Fifty Shades" Movie Update 2015 - Ever since the news about the upcoming movie sequels of "Fifty Shades of Grey" were released, more updates are coming out speculating about the latest celebrities to join the cast.
While there has been no official announcement on who will be chosen by the producers for the new roles in the upcoming "Fifty Shades" sequel, Fashion & Style speculated that fans would like to see "Superman" star Henry Cavill as Jack Hyde. The celeb news site also added that actress Charlize Theron might be playing the role of Elena Lincoln.
Reports about the casting for the "Fifty Shades" movie sequels seemed to have intensified following the global success of the first film in the erotic franchise. While Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are set to reprise their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, Venture Capital Post reported that Michael Fassbender and model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne are being considered for a role in "Fifty Shades Darker."
In the "Fifty Shades" movie sequels, Fassbender is up for portraying the role of Dr. Flynn, Christian Grey's psychiatrist in the controversial trilogy written by E.L. James. Delevingne, on the other hand, has been cast to play as Leila Williams, the ex-submissive partner of Grey.
While casting rumors keep on trickling in, there has been no official confirmation about the aforementioned celebs to join the cast.
Meanwhile, the latest teaser for the upcoming "Fifty Shades" movie sequel promises to be darker compared to the first installment. And along with the darker story line, the sequel might be showing more nudity. As per Daily Mirror, Dornan has been offered $1.5 million to shoot a full frontal nudity scene in the movie.
"They have assured Jamie that it won't be overt, but more of a brief tease - and he'll have some creative control over how it's handled," an insider revealed to Star Magazine.
In separate news, publisher Penguin Random House announced that an upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" book sequel has been stolen, a week before the publication day. According to CBC News, the publisher said the Kent Police in southern England are investigating the theft of a finished copy of E.L. James' new book, "Grey," which is the fourth book in the series and tells the story from Christian's point of view.
Despite the reported theft, Penguin Random House said "Grey" would still be published as planned on June 18, Christian Grey's birthday.
Aside from the casting speculations and stolen book, Universal Pictures has officially released the premiere date for "Fifty Shades Darker." The film will be released on February 10, 2017, while the third movie, "Fifty Shades Freed," is set to premiere February 9, 2018.
