Proud soon-to-be-parents-again Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally revealed the gender of their second baby. The power couple, who announced they're expecting in May, will welcome their son this December.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have since struggled to have another child. As per Independent, it's been speculated that the couple resorted to using IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), which was documented on the E! reality show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
Despite facing a difficulty in conceiving their second child, 34-year-old Kim Kardashian made an announcement on social media that she and husband Kanye West are expecting a baby boy. According to CTV News, the "KUWTK" star revealed the gender of their second child through an adorable photo posted on Facebook and Instagram late Sunday night, in celebration of Father's Day.
"Precious moments like these when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for," Kim captioned the photo. "You're such a good daddy to North and you will be the best daddy to our new son too!"
The couple's announcement comes just a couple of weeks after Kim Kardashian told her Twitter followers that she was keeping some big news a secret. In her social media post, Kim said they aren't hiring a surrogate and they aren't having twins. She also added that nothing is confirmed yet unless she says so.
Since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced that they're expecting, many rumors have circulated. E! News has learned Kim had recently squashed all the reports that their upcoming son will be named South West.
"I don't like South West though because that's like, you know, North will always be better and be more....she has a better direction," pregnant Kim told NPR. "So I wouldn't do that. I don't think we'll go with another direction."
Kim Kardashian had a difficult delivery with their first child, North, who turned 2 years old on June 15, due to preeclampsia. She was born a day before Father's Day in 2013, MTV News reports.
In spite of all the crazy rumors, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West remain extremely thrilled about the upcoming arrival of their son and their growing family.
