So, how "smart" is the new Apple Smart case?
In many ways, it will remind you of the original case: the sectioned, folding cover which was an idea that started with the microfiber case. However, one noticeable feature is the solid wraparound protection-meaning the back of your third generation iPad or iPad 2 will be well secured.
Apple's newly released Smart Case is the company's own first full iPad case since the original microfiber iPad case. The Smart Case comes in six colors, most of them matching the candy-pastel look of the polyurethane Smart Covers: blue, green, pink, red, light gray, and dark gray, with a white Apple logo printed on the back.
There is some space between the top of the case and the iPad, so this means the case does not fit as tightly to the tablet as users would like. Also, the cover is a bit challenging to open, which may cause a bit of a fuss with many users.
The new Apple Smart Case is available at a cost of $49.00.
