Paris Hilton is probably one of the poised celebrities out there, so Egyptian actor Ramez Galal, of the television show "Ramez in Control," thought it would be fun to see Paris out of her element by playing a prank on the lavish heiress.
Little did they know it went further than what they expected.
Paris was in Dubai to attend the opening of a hotel there and Ramez Galal invited her to a short plane ride to tour the city. The plane took off without a hitch, but after a while, the pilot pretended that something was wrong with the plane.
Besides complaining about the hot weather, Paris remained well-composed and even managed to check her makeup before the pilot made the distress call.
Hilton screamed, "What is happening? Is this normal?" in a video that was uploaded on YouTube, as described by New York Daily News. She was screaming and clearly did not know what to do. She also kept on asking, "Why can't we land?"
There were other passengers on the plane, but it was assumed that they were all in on the prank and everyone added the much-needed chaos to make it all seem real. Galal kept on shouting "Do something, do something please." A passenger even appeared to have jumped off the plane, Cosmopolitan reported.
The video ended with the plane eventually landing safely. After everyone disembarked, Galal explained that everything was a prank, according to The Huffington Post.
Hilton tweeted, "Scariest moment of my life. I really believed the plane was going to crash and we were all going to die."
