Bella Thorne Juggles Career And Being A Teen, Adds 'Scream' Under Her Belt

Bella Thorne is only 17, but she has already done two hair-raising movies: "Amityville: The Reawakening" and "Home Invasion," all expected to come out in 2016.

Add to the that, she is also in the cast of MTV's TV adaptation of the "Scream" franchise, a story about a murderer on the loose targeting teenagers.

The actress is a self-proclaimed fan of the horror genre. She told TV Guide when she visited their studio not long ago that her love for frightening movies, especially the "Scream" franchise led her to accept the role from the 1996 reboot, even if [spoiler alert!] she gets killed in the opening act.

She revealed, "I remember when they brought me the script I was like, 'If you can do this well, this could be amazing.' And it is. It's very well-written."

So, what is Thorne's advice when you're being chased by the bad guy in a horror movie?

"Don't look back, OK? Just don't look back. And try not to trip in the process," quipped the actress in an interview, as reported by Gulf News Television.

Thorne is extremely popular among her age group. She has done a great job at juggling her career, even balancing roles for kids of her generation, like appearing in Disney's "Shake It Up!" which is in its third season, and starring in the adult movie "Big Love" seen on HBO.

She has also done music recording and is writing a Young Adult series, with a second book entitled "Autumn's Kiss," coming out this fall.

The actress is set to work with Patrick Schwarzenegger on the movie "Midnight Sun," a Japanese film based on a young woman with a rare condition which prevents her from being exposed to the sun, so she has to live indoors. Her life is turned upside down when she meets the man of her dreams.

FOX News reported that Thorne is learning the ropes of turning down opportunities that come her way, no matter how inviting the role is.

The actress' mother recently countered her idea of doing a movie this summer in exchange of her doing things that normal teenagers do.
