The show must go on!
That was the case when former Disney star Demi Lovato took a hard fall on stage the summer pool party presented by 102.7 KIISFM at Downtown Los Angeles' WaterMarke Tower on Sunday afternoon. She was singing her newest single "Cool for the Summer," according to E! News
Donning high heels and a colorful swimwear, Demi, 22, was performed on a cramped and wet mini stage placed at the center of the pool — looks like a recipe for a disaster. She was preparing to jump and make a splash with all her followers when she accidentally lost her footing on the wet floor and went down, hard on her stomach instead.
Entertainment Tonight reported, the "Frozen" singer didn't mind the blunder as she got up right away and finished her jump into the water. Fans could be seen giving the performer an applause over Lovato as she finished the promotion of her song despite what happened.
Daily News has learned that Demi even posted on Instagram a video of her fall, with her song set in the background, with the tags, "#NOTCoolForTheSummer #F**kit." She later tweeted: "Well... It's not a tour without busting ass!!!!!!"
The singer was later spotted in in San Francisco's Temple Night Club that same day for another performance.
"Cool for the Summer" is expected to appear on her fifth album. Since its launch last week, the song has already made its presence felt in the charts.
"Take me down into your paradise/ Don't be scared cause I'm your body type," she sings in her new single. "Just something that we wanna try cause you and I/ We're cool for the summer."
Demi Lovato is now added to a long list of singers/performers like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift who had horrible spills while rocking the stage.
