‘Ant-Man’ Joins ‘Marvel Heroes 2015’; Catherine Zeta-Jones To Play Wasp In Paul Rudd’s Superhero Movie Part 2?

"Marvel Heroes 2015" developer Gazillion recently announced that Paul Rudd's titular superhero character "Ant-Man" will be joining some of the big names in the free-to-play action RPG. The news, along with other major updates, was announced during the San Diego Comi- Con on July 10.

Along with the latest Marvel film, "Ant-Man," Gazillion revealed that Ant-Man will lead the pack as a playable character. According to Polygon, he will be the 49th playable hero added to the game and will be soon joined by War Machine. And despite the visual similarities with Iron Man, Gazillion said War Machine will play very differently.

Aside from Ant-Man and War Machine, Gazillion CEO David Brevik decided to reveal five more characters. In no particular order, Brevik said heroes 51 through 54 will comprise Blade, Kitty Pryde, Iron Fist and Black Cat. And for the 55th character, Gazillion is letting fans decide through online voting on the official Marvel Heroes Web site over the next two weeks.

By voting, fans will be able to choose between Green Goblin, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Magik, Wasp, Nick Fury and Spider-Man (Miles Morales). And after the voting period, the hero with the most votes will be added to the game.

In other news, Michael Douglas was asked who his dream casting choice for the character Wasp in Marvel's "Ant-Man" film franchise. And for the veteran actor, wife Catherine Zeta-Jones will be an ideal choice, IGN revealed.

"Catherine Zeta-Jones," Douglas told MTV UK. "Wouldn't be a bad idea. Remember her in Entrapment? You know, she's pretty good at all that stuff."

Meanwhile, actor Corey Stoll, who plays a villainous character in "Ant-Man," revealed he's a certified starstruck fanboy at heart. Though he played the genius inventor who created Ant-Man's shrinking suit, he is another Marvel hero in real life. As per New York Post, "X-Men" films' Professor X lives pretty close to Stoll.

As Stoll grew up reading "X-Men" comics, he had long imagined Patrick Stewart a.k.a Professor X, who is the "X-Men" leader.

"I remember in high school with my friends sitting around casting what our ideal 'X-Men' movie would be," he says. "We cast him [as Professor X] all the way back in the early '90s."

Since Corey Stoll was immersed in comics, in which "Spider-Man" became his favorite, he decided to join a host of fine actors, who've played Marvel villains, through the "Ant-Man" film.

Catch Marvel's "Ant-Man" when it hits theaters on July 17.
