Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Continues To Perform, Says His Broken Leg Made The Band Stronger Than Ever

Dave Grohl gave a different meaning to the phrase "the show must go on." While the group was performing in Sweden last month, he accidentally fell off the stage and fractured his foot. Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters still finished their performance that night despite the accident. Following which, the band decided to cancel their European tour as Dave Grohl underwent surgery for his broken leg.

Billboard reported that Foo Fighters is now ready to give a great performance to their fans. Grohl and the rest of the group performed last weekend in Washington D.C. Grohl had to sit in a chair with a seatbelt during the performance and for him, it signifies that the Foo Fighters are united. He said, "I'm just a dude with a broken leg and I'm going to give you three hours of everything I got."

Grohl, who grew up in Washinton, also expressed that it has been his dream to play at RFK Stadium and that nothing can stop him from doing a show in his hometown.

Meanwhile, AceShowbiz has learned that the band was forced to cancel another performance due to inclement weather conditions last Saturday night in Quebec City. The band tried their best not to cancel the show and they even managed to perform for twenty minutes — performing songs such as "Everlong," "Monkey Wrench" and "Something From Nothing" — prior to nixing the gig, which was attended by nearly 75,000 concertgoers.

Dustin Rabin posted a photo on his Instagram page @dustinrabin which he captioned: "Quebec City, we'll be back.... Mother Nature always win."

Fans in UK will also get a chance to see the Foo Fighters perform again, according to NME. The group announced that they will perform at Milton Keynes Bowl on September 5 and 6. The band released a statement, expressing how much they love their fans who are always by their side and have supported them through the years.
