Avid fans of "Allegiant-Divergent" couple Theo James and Shailene Woodley are eagerly anticipating the release of the third installment of "Divergent." It's still a few months away, but aside from getting updates about Tris and Four, they have been observing and waiting for telltale signs if the two stars have something deeper than friendship going on — since they have been working closely with each other for the three movies and another one is about to start filming.
Sugarscape revealed that the "smoking hot" actor Theo James disclosed the changes in the plot of "Allegiant." Although it's not yet confirmed that the franchise's director or author Veronica Roth will agree with his theory, fans would still jump for joy if this happens.
So, what did Theo disclosed? Brace yourselves! He and Woodley will have twins named Bertie and Bernadette — not! Obviously, the actor was just joking when he said this. Followers of Veronica Roth's "Divergent" series know by heart that Four and Tris will (spoiler alert) not have a child; the lady protagonist won't even be around to have one.
On the other hand, Movie News Guide reported that in an interview with Vulture, best-selling author Veronica Roth mentioned that she agreed with all the changes in the movie "Insurgent" for she knew such things were necessary for the film. Asked if what part in the story of "Allegiant" she would like to cut to make a two-part movie, she pointed out that in her book, there were two distinct angles: one deals with the repercussions of what happened in "Insurgent" and the other focuses on how characters handled themselves once they were outside the city.
On the issue of fans passing a petition for her and Lionsgate to consider revising the finale of "Allegiant," Roth said that it cannot happen, for it is certain that Tris will face death in the movie parallel to the book's ending. Woodley was already aware since "Divergent" that this will unfortunately happen to her character.
"I talked to Shailene about how she reacted to the ending and she really enjoyed the way that it ended. I don't know. I wrote 'Allegiant' that way because I thought that was the way it needed to be told," said Roth, as per Realty Today.
Meanwhile, for some Team Sheo updates, according to Master Herald, the British actor stated in recent interviews that he and co-star Shailene Woodley are 100 percent good pals, adding that he is hoping to have more time with the actress. It's unclear if the "Underworld" star said this to imply that he wants to work with Shailene in more projects, or if he was actually referring to some quality time with Woodley behind the camera.
Well, considering that "Allegiant" will have a part 2, Theo James and Shailene Woodley will get to spend more time together for now. Who knows what will happen next? Keep your fingers crossed Team Sheo!
