Now that Ben Higgins is eliminated from "The Bachelorette," many are convinced that he will get the spot for the season 20 of "The Bachelor."
See, here's the thing about this franchise — it's been keeping the pattern of choosing third runners-up as the next lead. "The Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe was the third runner-up on Chris Soules' "The Bachelor" season, according to International Business Times.
Soules was the third runner-up on Andi Dorfman's season. Dorfman was the third runner-up on Juan Pablo's season.
Higgins was described by Bristowe as a solid guy, mature and gentleman. In fact, she even recommended him to become the next titular bachelor.
Her statement with People raised a lot of suspicions — was that a hint of Higgins' forthcoming elimination? Nonetheless, fans are eager to know if "The Bachelor" would cast him as lead.
Before Higgins leads ABCs reality show, let's get to know him first. Here are the five things you should know about "The Bachelor's" poissible next contender.
1. He's a class act, according to Hollywood Life.

He added that he respects her, and he was glad that she was their bachelorette.
2. He has a Proverbs 16:3 tattoo.
He only has one ink on his body, Insomniac Ramblings revealed. That is "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."
Its location was not disclosed though.
3. He doesn't just play basketball.
He was Indiana University's Basketball Club President and Co-founder. He was also the Director of Faith-Based Affairs for the Coalitions Committee.
4. He's good with kids.
No wonder he won that group rose in "The Bachelorette" episode, where they taught sex education to a group of kids.
We can't blame him if he had the advantage because he used to work at Baker Youth Club, a locally-founded, non-profit organization for kids.
5. He did missions.
He's hitting two birds with one stone — doing missionary work in Honduras was his way of expressing his love for God and his passion for traveling.
