Kristen Stewart, who was recently bombarded with several issues about her career and personal life — making more Indie film and having a relationship with Alicia Cargile, thanked her childhood traumatic experiences for turning her into a composed woman.
The transformation of the "Twilight" actress, who said she has finally grown to accept herself, was described by Movie Pilot as inspiring.
"I'm really proud that I am able to move forward and not fall into every mental crater," The "American Ultra" actress said during an interview with Marie Claire.
"I've lived hard for such a young person. But I've come out the other end not hardened but strong," Rob Pattinson's ex-girlfriend added.
The 25-year-old actress admitted that the pressure of being a Hollywood star hit her hard. She described her early 20s as a traumatic period that caused her to be a bit more feral.
She revealed that she wanted to be in control and was anxious all the time. She would lock herself up or make herself appear ill if she didn't know how things are going to turn out.
Bringing her guard down, she eventually learned how to let go and give in to life. She described her transformation as a new thing for her, adding that age made her level-headed.
Kristen Stewart's romance and breakup with "Twilight" co-star and once real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson was on top of the headlines for quite some time. News.com has learned that she felt as though the public burned her at stake, but she assured that she managed to conquer it and it was okay.
Stewart was seen having a conversation with Kanye West during Paris Fashion Week, and while the conversation seemed harmless, it spiked some rumors saying that she was deliberately destroying FKA Twigs' career by bad-mouthing her to West, according to Fashion & Style.
The singer is determined to make a name for herself, and she thinks West is a big deal. FKA Twigs is allegedly scared that Kanye's friendship with Stewart can soon end the singer's career, as per Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
FKA Twigs has yet to comment on this rumor.
