"Avengers: Infinity War — Part 1" may showcase a new Avengers team, with a different leader, in the person of Spider-Man.
Spider-Man will be caught in-between Captain America and Iron Man's clash. Although the plot has yet to be known, the aftermath of this conflict will lead to big changes that may leave the team shattered.
Anthony and Joe Russo, directors of the "Civil War," believe that "Avengers: Infinity War — Part 1" will be an opportunity to debut a whole new Avengers team lineup, while the other heroes are rebuilding their lives.
This will be a perfect time for Spider-Man to come in, after his debut in "Captain America: Civil War." Kevin Feige, Marvel Studio's president, confirmed that the character is no stranger to the task at hand.
"There is a young kid already running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in the MCU, you just don't know it yet," Feige said.
There are three important key characteristics of Spider-Man, pointed out by Movie Pilot, that will make him fit to be a leader. First is recognisability, which is a great way of pulling the audience in.
Second is his youthful look that can help rejuvenate the team following the Civil War events. Last is his people-person character, that could bring people closer together.
Meanwhile, the rumors of Magus joining Thanos, the primary villain of "Avengers: Infinity War," has been confirmed, Movie News Guide reported.
Talking about rumors, it appears that the producers of the film want Beyonce to join the cast. The characters of Boom-boom, Blink, Tigra and Hawkeye are being considered for Jay Z's wife, according to Australia News Network.
The "Run The World" singer is negotiating with Marvel and Disney, says Daily Star. However, there are no official statements released yet to confirm the story.
"Avengers: Infinity War — Part 1" is slated to be released in May 2018.
