Mariah Carey, who's dating billionaire James Packer, made a declaration of love during her concert, Wednesday, at the Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas through the song "Hero."
The 45-year-old diva told thousands of her audience that she got a new heart before she sang the song, according to People. She then told the crowd that Packer was in the house.
"Thank you for my heart," Carey added. "I dedicate this next song to you."
She also dedicated the song to her fans and everyone who told her that this song got them through the difficult times in their lives. Released in 1993, "Hero" earned Carey a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
It was only in June when Carey and Packer admitted publicly that they were dating, after they were seen walking hand-in-hand in Italy, as per Stuff.co.
Following Italy, the 47-year-old business man and Carey flew to Israel. A source told E! News that taking Carey to the Western Wall for the first time was important to Packer.
Carey has been all over the world but never to the Holy Land, the insider added. In the Western Wall, there is only one part where man and woman can stand together, and taking Carey there was meaningful for him.
The trip, which the couple shared with Carey's children — Moroccan and Monroe — was more like a spiritual journey. He knew that everything was at Carey's fingertips, but he would like her to experience things such as this.
Few weeks later, the songstress announced in a recording presented at Tel Aviv press conference that she was going to have her first concert at the Rishon Lezion Live Park Amphitheater on Aug. 18.
Carey's new beau was married to model Erica Packer for six years. They split in 2013, just a year before the diva got separated from rapper Nick Cannon, also after six years of marriage.
