Teresa Giudice is reportedly making a "Real Housewives of New Jersey" comeback after she finished her 15-month sentence in federal prison. And for her upcoming return in the reality television show, Bravo offered her $1 million.
Despite serving time in prison for bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud charges, Bravo still wants 43-year-old Teresa Giudice to return to "Real Housewives." According to NJ.com, her phone calls with her family will be part of an upcoming television special regardless of whether she will accept the $1 million offer or not.
In 2014, Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe pleaded guilty to financial fraud and were both sentenced to be imprisoned but consecutively so that at least one of them could be at home with their children. And until now, Giudice is still facing almost $215,000 in restitution payments.
Moreover, in the court documents obtained by Radar Online, "Real Housewives" producers must deduct 25 percent of any salaries held on behalf of or payable to Teresa Giudice, which will be paid to the plaintiff.
Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice's sister-in-law and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-star Melissa Gorga spoke up about their family and revealed that they're doing well even when Giudice is in prison. According to People, Giudice's husband Joe is taking care of their daughters, 13-year-old Gia, 9-year-old Milania, 8-year-old Gabriella and 3-year-old Audriana.
"I see the girls a lot," Gorga said, "Joe has seen Teresa, he's been there to visit her, and I think that we are strong as a family, and I think the kids are doing very well, better than we all thought."
When Giudice's time in prison at the Connecticut Federal Correctional Institution finally ends, which will be on Feb. 5, it will be Joe's turn to serve up his own 41-month sentence. Giudice is expected to be released from the correctional in December and finish the rest of her sentence under home arrest.
Aside from the rumors of Teresa Giudice's return to "Real Housewives," Joe Giudice's spinoff show about his life without his wife is reportedly underway, but 36-year-old Gorga is tightlipped.
"I know everyone's talking about the Jersey special that's coming out," she said, "It's not confirmed yet by Bravo, so I am tight-lipped!"
In other news, "Real Housewives" is the only reality television show that has not yet done an all-star season. However, the idea has come up before, E! News noted. But by mixing up the fierce and fiery women from different locations, perhaps, an all-star edition is a bad idea. What do you think?
