Lavigne claimed she wrote with the intention to inspire and empower people who are facing challenges. She also wrote on Instagram that all proceeds will go to support the Special Olympics.
Her photo already has 91,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments. Her battle against Lyme Disease apparently inspired many of her followers, who were glad of her comeback.

The "Complicated" singer said she was honored and happy to have made it onstage for her first performance, after going on hiatus for nearly a year following her Lyme Disease diagnosis, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The event brings together not just hundreds but thousands of intellectually disabled athletes around the world to compete in 25 different sports. It was started by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who passed it on to her daughter, Maria Shriver, ABC News learned.
Lavigne felt well enough to perform, but the fight continues, according to US Weekly. She revealed that she has seen a lot of progress and is already half way through the treatment.
It was in December when she revealed that she wasn't feeling well. It was only in April that she told the public about Lyme Disease that had her bedridden for five months.
Lavigne had to completely change her diet, eliminating sugar, dairy and gluten. She also had to swim and walk every day, along with yoga.
