Chris Brown and Rihanna have officially rekindled their relationship with the approval of Rihanna's father.
According to recent interviews with Britain's Grazia magazine, Ronald Fenty says that Brown has "matured" since the breaking up of the two singers, and that Brown and his daughter Rihanna make a "perfect couple."
In 2009, the couple made headlines for Brown's assault on Rihanna only a day before the Grammy Awards.
Since the violent fight, the couple has not had any publicly direct contact with one another, but are reported to have dated other people since then.
Brown is currently dating model Karrueche Tran and Rihanna had been reported to have dated rapper Drake.
Recently, Drake and Brown got into a brawl at a New York nightclub that was speculated to have Rihanna at the center of the rift.
After all the rockiness of Brown and Rihanna's past relationship and the drama that has linked the two together, Rihanna's father still seems to see little problem with the reuniting of his daughter and Brown.
"Everyone is entitled to make a mistake," he told Grazia. "Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."
