Apple customers may not have to fret about the iPhone 5's release date being affected by recently reported battery problems. The battery issues are said to be coming directly from the device's official battery provider.
Apple's battery provider is speculated to be having a difficult time creating enough energy packs that can meet Apple's high standards.
According to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, the unnamed battery provider has only been able to fulfill 30 percent of its Apple orders. This creates a large problem as the iPhone 5 release date is rumored to be only a few months away.
If the battery issue claims are true, Apple is expected to come up with a plan to avoid a delayed release of the iPhone 5.
"If there is a battery challenge, we trust that Apple will be able to figure it out in time for a September launch," wrote White.
Apple is known to have very strict standards in regards to the quality of their operating systems. A similar issue occurred when the white iPhone 4 faced a delayed launch due to a lack of UV protection.
As customers continue to anticipate the launch of the new iPhone 5, they will be keeping a close eye out to see whether new CEO, Tim Cook, will follow in former CEO Steve Jobs' footsteps and hold off on releasing the phone or whether he will find a quick fix to the problem.
