Ronda Rousey, Bethe Correia News 2015: American MMA Fighter Swears To Dominate UFC 190; Brazilian Opponent Doesn't 'Buy It'

American mixed martial artist Rounda Rousey has sworn to dominate every second of the UFC 190 against Brazilian contender Bethe Correia however, her opponent in the coming fight doesn't believe she's that invincible.

The UFC women's bantamweight champion, who plans to prolong the fight despite having gotten "chewed out" by her mother, said she is "going to be so dominant in every single second of it," USA Today reported.

Rousey, who will be defending her title for the sixth time in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, has previously revealed that, aside from defeating Correia, she also plans to make her suffer to humiliate her.

"Some things take longer," said Rousey in May. "Like, a choke takes longer than an armbar, and a TKO takes longer than the choke. I might go for the prolonged finish instead."

Her vengeful scheme apparently stemmed from Correia's relentless jabs at her teammates during post-fight celebrations plus her Brazilian opponent seemed to have gone overboard touching on the suicide death of Rousey's father in interviews leading up to the much awaited bout.

Correia on the hand doesn't seem to be fazed by what Rousy has prepared for her.

"She's like this American heroine. She has this aura of invincibility. People have created a myth surrounding her, and I just don't buy it," she said.

Meanwhile, Rousey was overwhelmed by the Brazilian fans' support during Wednesday's open workouts, saying she didn't expect such a reception as she gets booed even when fighting in America, according to Daily Mail.

"I get booed in America and I'm cheered here! 'It's a different mentality, I love it here. Sometimes I'm too brash for politically correct Americans, so it's nice to have that acceptance internationally," she explained.

Rousey however, said she would understand if everyone boos her on Saturday.

"I would still be happy that they would care that much. But I mean, it just really warms my heart, the kind of reception that I've gotten here. I just try my best to deserve it," she said, Yahoo Sports has learned.
