"Thor 3: Ragnarok" is going to be a big thing when it hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2017. Two years shy of its release date, fans are already enjoying the hype on what's to come for the third God of Thunder movie.
Lady Sif actress Jaimie Alexander, who was recently interviewed about the movie, could have been a good source for some juicy bits about the flick. However, Alexander herself is in the dark when it comes to specifics, as per Youth Health.
"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don't tell me certain things. Because they know I'll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can't tell you what because I'll get shot," Alexander told the Los Angeles Times.
Despite not knowing what awaits fans, Alexander admitted that Marvel has already been teasing everyone about "Thor 3: Ragnarok" and the connections among active Marvel franchises.
"There's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain [America]' will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films," the actress said.
Aside from Alexander's words, there have been rumors and speculations that Kenneth Branagh was tapped to direct the third "Thor" flick, but Kevin Feige was quick to slam them when he told Collider: "Not true. I don't know where that came from."
The Marvel Studios president's words confirmed that there is nobody on board yet to sit on the director's chair. However, Feige teased that the helmer will be named soon, alongside the writer to create the script.
"Probably towards the end of the summer we would announce a filmmaker and a writer. May be the same person, I don't know, may be two different people," Feige said.
In a rather intriguing news, International Business Times has learned that some interesting things about "Thor 3: Ragnarok" will be presented in "Captain America: Civil War" However, this is surprising since Chris Hemsworth's character will not be part of the "Captain America: Civil War" storyline. Perhaps there is going to be some post-credit scene that could justify this.
