"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was supposed to be released in Japan this Fall, but it has been recently confirmed that it was moved to Feb. 4, 2016. Along with the updated release date is the news of DLC freebies which will be given to selected players, according to Venture Capital Post.
The fourth installment of the game costs 7,600 yen or that's about $70, according to Anime News Network. As mentioned earlier, DLC packs will be given to selected players.
This means that only those who will purchase the initial copies of the game in Japan or pre-order the copies in the U.S. and Europe can take advantage of this offer. They will receive Borotu and Sarada, the main characters of "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" as playable characters.
It will also include the The Sixth Hokage costume for Kakashi and costumes for Sakura and Hinata of "The Last: Naruto The Movie."
"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is going to bring more than 80 playable characters which will be coming from Naruto Shippuden manga and "The Last: Naruto The Movie." Other than Boruto and Sarada, Uzumaki Naruto, Kaguya, Hanabi Hyuga and Sasuke have been confirmed for the game.
The playable demo of "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be revealed at GamesCom 2015 on Aug. 5-9 at Cologne, Germany. According to Youth Health, the demo will let the players change their characters during the battle, and will feature new gameplay modes that includes the strongest team combination jutsu.
Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the game in new gen consoles, PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
There are some rumors that the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" U.S. and European release will happen in March, one month after the game hits Japan. iDigital Times reached out to Bandai Namco about this, but hasn't received any responses yet.
