Usher’s Stepson Declared Brain Dead: Tameka Foster Speaks Out

Saturday proved to be a very tragic day for R&B Singer Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. After a jet ski accident, Foster's 11-year-old son (Usher's stepson), Kile Glover, was left in critical condition, eventually being declared brain dead by doctors, on Sunday.

According to TMZ, Glover has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted into the hospital two days ago. Reports have stated that the boy and a friend were floating in inner tubes on Lake Lanier in Atlantic when they were struck by a man on a jet ski. Glover was unresponsive upon being taken out of the water and was airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. His friend, a 15-year-old girl who remains unidentified, was treated for a cut on the head and a broken arm.

According to the Atlantic Journal-Constitution, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said that alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the accident and the newspaper also stated that the man on the jet ski and Glover were a part of the same group on an outing at the lake.

Glover's mother broke the silence about her son's condition and told RadarOnline.com, "He's bad."

On her Facebook page she wrote, "Kyle, You are strong.. You'll be saved I know it," the mother of five wrote on her Facebook page. "I love you my baby. I need all #Prayers for my son! thanks you everybody!"

Usher and Foster married in 2007, however, divorced in 2009. Despite the ongoing custody battle over their two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, Usher has been by her side through this ordeal, even chartering her a jet for her to quickly be by her son's side.

Both, Usher and Foster were present at the hospital, according to reports.
