"Clash of Clans" rolled out a new update recently and part of it was the introduction of the Level 5 Dragon. Realty Today has learned that it costs eight million Elixir and is available in Town Hall Level 10, which would require an updated laboratory.
With the Level 5 Dragon around, players reportedly would not be able to use lightning spells to steal loot by destroying the elixir storage of the opponents. In addition, the Level 5 has lessened the game's playing and training time.
Furthermore, it has been reported that low ranking players would be able to unlock the dragon which will give them the opportunity to fight and possibly win against veteran players.
"Clash of Clans" has been a worldwide success, according to International Business Times. Supercell said that the game transformed the way mobile gaming works, since it was released in 2012.
A proof of this success is the recently concluded nationwide tournament of "CoC" — Supercell's "freemium" mobile MMO strategy video game — in the Philippines.
Globe, a major telecommunications provider in the country, together with Clash of Clans Philippines, the biggest "CoC "community, hosted the event which was entitled "#NextLevelKa Clash of Clans Tournament," Phil Star reported.
The first run of tournament hailed 24 winners from Davao and Manila. 18 came from the individual sub-categories, Rookie, Master and Champion, while the other six came from the Clan match-up.
The next mobile gaming competition will be happening on Aug. 28 and 29 at Ayala Center in Cebu. Champions from individual and clan categories from all tournament legs will move to the Ultimate Clash Grand Championships on Sept. 13 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, with 2 million worth of cash and gems at stake.
A "Clash of Clans" convention will be held on Oct. 24 at Helsinki in Finland, where the game's developer and publisher, Supercell, is located. Tickets to the event will be reportedly available starting July 24.
